This year, ABMA is hosting its Advocacy Day LIVE AND IN PERSON in Washington D.C. Wednesday, March 22nd to Friday March 24th. Register here.
Schedule of Events
We will kick off Wednesday afternoon with an issue briefing by Director of Government Affairs, Katherine Slye-Hernandez, PhD, and Government Affairs Consultant, Pat Rita, to review the issues we want to discuss with legislators. The briefing will be followed by a cocktail hour and group dinner at the Lincoln Restaurant.
Thursday will be our “Day on The Hill.” All attendees will meet with their Congressional Representatives and Senators to discuss our issues. Meetings will be followed by a debrief with ABMA staff to discuss how everything went and collect feedback. Everyone is on their own for dinner, and the evening will tentatively end with an evening tour of the Capitol. Stay tuned for more information on this.
