Advocacy Day 2026
On April 14, 2026, more than 80 members of the American Building Materials Alliance (ABMA) gathered on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., for ABMA Advocacy Day, conducting nearly 60 meetings with members of Congress and their staff. Throughout the day, advocates highlighted several key federal priorities impacting the lumber and building materials industry, including passage of the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act to address housing affordability and increase housing supply, efforts to reduce excessive credit card interchange fees that burden businesses and consumers, and support for the Prove It Act to ensure federal regulations are fully evaluated for their economic impact on small businesses.
ABMA extends our heartfelt thanks to all attendees for their active participation and engagement during Advocacy Day 2026. A special appreciation goes to our sponsors for their generous support.
