We Need Your Support—Join Us in Fixing Housing Policy
The issue of affordable homeownership in America is coming to a head.
Major economic actors are now moving. Following a frank discussion about a possible housing correction, the Federal Reserve has cut rates in an effort to keep the market stable. At the same time, the President is actively exploring a sweeping housing plan to tackle the crisis head-on.
This is the moment we’ve been preparing for.
For months, the American Building Materials Alliance (ABMA) has been building a housing policy proposal from the ground up, crafted by our members, informed by real-world experience, and focused on one goal: bringing sky-high government-driven construction costs back down to earth to restore affordability for first-time homebuyers.
Now, as national leaders act, ABMA has a seat at the table. But to ensure our industry’s plan is part of the conversation, we need to show that we have businesses, associations, and individuals standing with us.
That’s why your support matters right now.
In just the first week since launching this initiative, more than thirty businesses and associations have already signed on—and more are joining every day:

This growing coalition proves what our industry has always known: when it’s time to step up, we show up.
But this is only the beginning. To make sure ABMA’s proposal is part of the President’s housing agenda and the broader national response, we need even more names behind it.
